Important Considerations Before Purchasing a CTEK Charger:
1. Battery lifespan under 2 years: If your car battery is less than 2 years old, the CTEK charger might be able to charge it, depending on its current voltage. However, the overall condition of the battery will determine whether it can be fully revived.
2. Battery voltage 2 volts and above: The CTEK charger operates effectively when the battery voltage is at or above 2 volts. If the voltage drops below 2 volts, and especially if it's between 0-2 volts, the Battery Management System (BMS) may lock the battery to prevent further discharge and damage. In such cases, the CTEK charger is unlikely to charge the battery due to the BMS lock. To avoid this issue, make sure to charge your battery before it reaches such a low voltage. If the battery is locked, only a professional may be able to unlock it, though success is not guaranteed. Pre-charging by a professional may be required before using the CTEK charger.
3. CTEK charger limitations: While the CTEK charger can help extend your battery’s life, it may not be able to revive a battery that can no longer accept a charge or hold a charge anymore. If the charger detects issues such as very low voltage or significant battery deterioration, it will display a red LED warning light, indicating that the battery may require professional attention or replacement, as it might be beyond recovery.
The set was good but it did not come with the assessory that bolts on to the battery terminals for those hard to access batteries . Terminal clips are temporary but the permanant screw on accossory sould be there too

However, the Eyelet M8 is currently only compatible with certain models like the CTEK Lithium UK Set or MXS 10.0, which are more specialized for either lithium or lead-acid batteries exclusively.
The unit you purchased, the CTEK CS One, is a versatile charger designed primarily for workshop or multi-vehicle users who switch between lithium and lead-acid batteries. Due to its unique adaptive polarity and smart connection design, it does not support bolt-on accessories like the Eyelet M8.
If a fixed connection is a key priority for you, we recommend considering a charger dedicated to one battery type, such as the MXS 10.0 (for lead-acid) or the Lithium XS UK Set (for lithium). These support the Eyelet M8 for easier long-term setup.
